ok, but if I want my result tree to be free from any namespace that has been declared in my source tree, how would I deal with that? Is there a way to delete the declaration? regards, Roman -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: David Carlisle [mailto:davidc@xxxxxxxxx] Gesendet: Montag, 27. Namespace declarations cause namespace nodes to be generated in the input tree (on all elements for which the namespace is in scope) These are addressable via the namespace:: axis. The declarations are not considered to be attributes and are not in the attribute:: axis.
