This is one way, where the common code is a "library" xslt which the other two stylesheets "import". You could also consider a different ("pipelined") arrangement, where the common code produces an intermediate document (perhaps in HTML?), and this is then processed further by the other stylesheets. ----> XML-to-fancy-HTML.xsl ---> "fancy" HTML document. / XML ---> XML-to-plain-HTML.xsl \ ----> XML-to-FO.xsl -----------> FO document Cheers Hans!
