Sorry Mike, that's a bit too subtle for me. distinct-values (from the wd) The distinct-values function takes a sequence of nodes or values as input, and returns a sequence in which duplicates have been removed by value. So it picks up the 'sequence' of all att nodes in the current-group, and removes duplicates? So it would be <xsl:for-each select="distinct-values(current-group()/@att)"> <xsl:value-of select="concat(., ' ')"/> </xsl:for-each> Is that a stable one (wd wise?) or one that you simply haven't got round to implementing as yet? I think that makes even more sense (simpler to understand?) than the first solution. Thanks again Mike.
