Then you can do this:

<xsl:template match="/">
    <xsl:processing-instruction name="xml-stylesheet">
         href="<xsl:value-of select='concat($client, "-part-styler.xsl")'/>"
         type="text/xsl"
    </xsl:processing-instruction>
</xsl:template>
