Of course that's possible. Why should it not be?

Two more possibilities:

- using MS Word XML format - I don't know anything about it, but it exists. In the future there will be XDocs (http://www.microsoft.com/office/xdocs/default.asp).

- using an XML framework like Cocoon (http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/), serialize the output to RTF and open this with Word. So you don't need any additional Java coding, only XSLT.

Hi there,
I am new to this list. I was wondering if its possible to convert an XML document to a WORD document.
I have thought of 1 solution--I am not sure if its right.
1)Convert the XML doucment to an HTML document by parsing the XML file( planning to use JAVA and XSL)
2)Open the HTML file in WORD.

Does anyone have any other idea?
