Sorry, I meant the child elements fo the name object, I am presuming that your XML would go something like this: <colA> <colB>data</colB> <colC>data</colC> <colB>data</colB> <colC>data</colC> <colB>data</colB> <colC>data</colC> </colA> And you would only output the persons name if you found the first occurence of <colA/> or <colB/> If I am wrong then please send me the xml. I JUST HOPE THAT I HAVEN'T SOUNDED LIKE A PLONKER! :-) -----Original Message----- From: Lee, Insoo [mailto:Insoo.Lee@xxxxxx] Sent: 13 December 2002 14:34 To: 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [xsl] how to skip repeating value in the table? Hello, How would skip the repeating table cell? For example I have, A B C ---------------------------- Kevin English A Kevin C++ B Kevin Math A Tom English B Tom Art A Sarah C++ A Sarah Math A I'd like to do some sort fo:block skip so that it would print A B C ---------------------------- Kevin English A C++ B Math A Tom English B Art A Sarah C++ A Math A Thanks!
