Subject: [xsl] Variable assignment outside XSL From: Delaney Robin <Robin.Delaney@xxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 3 Feb 2003 17:27:44 +0100 |
Hello List,
Is it possible to assign variables outside of XSL which can be accessed from
within (during transformation). I need to create extra elements in an XML
file to hold values like date-time, username, filename(can I get this from
document()?), servername etc........... depending on when the transformation
ran and thought I could do it using variables (WIN platform). Or is there
any suggested method to pass info into XSL ?
Thanks in advance for any info.
Regards,
Robin
