Subject: [xsl] Progress indicator in Xalan? From: Jinesh Varia <jineshresearch@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 15 Feb 2003 18:45:02 -0800 (PST) |
Hello How difficult will it be to code a progress indicator that would show the percentage of the process when we parse and transform an XML into another XML/HTML using an XSL Something similar to unix command line progress percentage indicator. Somebody has made it for MS .NET using ASP and javascript for UI(http://www.15seconds.com/issue/011212.htm). but what if we want to implement a command line utility applicable to all XALAN processes/tranformations like providing an option while executing ...something like java org.xml... -p Please let me know how can that be done or it has be already done. There will be lot of uses of this kind of utility thanks Jinesh ===== ----------------------------------------------------------------- Jinesh Varia Graduate Student, Information Systems Pennsylvania State University Email: jinesh@xxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------------------- 'Self is the author of its actions.' __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
