Two possible options come to mind: an <xsl:include> in your stylesheet, or an XML external parsed entity (declared at the top of your stylesheet and called in where its content is required).

Information about either of these is readily available. In the case of xsl:script it's of course an XSLT feature (look at any on- or off-line guide to XSLT elements); you'll find out about external parsed entities in any reasonably complete reference on XML syntax.
