Hi François, if <mot> is the root node it can be only one root node. Can you show how mygloss.xml looks like? Cheers, Juergen -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: François Parlant [mailto:fxp.xsl@xxxxxxxxxxx] Gesendet am: Donnerstag, 26. Why does "document('mygloss.xml')//mot[$pos]" only gives answer for $pos=1 and returns nothing for all other values? I've also tried some number($pos), but it didn't work. Please any help would be great. François XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
