Subject: [xsl] Transformer error using Xalan From: "Simon Kelly" <kelly@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2003 17:07:49 +0200 |
Hi all, I've had this error before using Xalan on a Unix box, and solved it by using the transformer that comes with the sun sdk instead. Unfortunately I now have to use Xalan, and the error has, of course, come back. All my XML and XSL pass though XMLSpy with no errors what so ever, yet I am getting the following when it hits the web browser. <code> The XML page cannot be displayed Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later. Invalid at the top level of the document. Error processing resource 'http://127.0.0.1:8080/katrin/welcome.do'. Line 1, Position 39 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> </code> Now, for the life of me, I cannot see what is wrong at the ?> position where it is saying there is an error. Can someone shine some light on this? Thanks Simon *I think I will go and vent my frustration on 100 golf balls* "I have often wondered how it is that every man loves himself more than all the rest of men, but yet sets less value on his own opinion of himself than on the opinion of others." -- Georg Christoph Lichtenberg Institut fuer Prozessdatenverarbeitung und Elektronik, Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe GmbH, Postfach 3640, D-76021 Karlsruhe, Germany.
