[xsl] multiple template value input

how can i insert the outcome of a template into another template at the
place of the word space ? <xsl:with-param name="text" select="space"/>
- taken into account, that the outcome of the template is multiple, since it
contains a for-each loop... which means it puts them all together in the
variable.
