Thanx David, This is part of a algorithm that calculates a stochastic oscillator. The result is close but no banana, so I thought it was the below problem. (ie 1 node/day out) I'll look again. Salud John > and I say 'day[position() > last()-5 and position() < last()-1]' > then am I selecting 14, 13 12.?? Maybe there is a better way looks right, in what way do the results differ from your expectation?
