Subject: [xsl] Interesting discussion on typing and "non-determinism" in XQuery From: "Dimitre Novatchev" <dnovatchev@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Thu, 16 Oct 2003 20:55:42 +0200 |
Right now there is a very interesting discussion about typing and "non-determinism" of functional languages on the base of XQuery. For me it is clear that those, who find "non-determinism" in a functional language and object to it actually object to the side-effects-free nature of a functional language. The thread is called "XQuery" and started at: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-qt-comments/2003Oct/0077.html ===== Cheers, Dimitre Novatchev. http://fxsl.sourceforge.net/ -- the home of FXSL XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
