This kind of font families is called 'monospaced'; in font faces belonging to this
class all glyphs have the same width. A very widely used monospaced font face
is Courier, in its many flavors.

Others, though not as distributed, can bear such names as Terminal, Fixed etc.

Courier is normally present on all systems; it is among standard fonts of PDF.
In XSL FO, the generic font family 'monospace' is mapped to a monospaced font
present in the system.
