Everett,

XSLT doesn't define how a stylesheet is to be associated with a file or invoked in a process, since it's designed to work in a wide range of different scenarios, all of which may handle this kind of thing differently.

That being said, the answer is "yes, this can be done", but that's no help to you without more specifics. Whether and how it can be done in your case depends on how the XML/XSLT is being hosted and served ... is this .NET, Apache Cocoon, PHP, or what?

Tell us that, and someone might be able to answer -- or more likely, you'll be referred to documentation or support for that particular product (which you should look into in any case).

Cheers,
Wendell

Hi,, I have an XML file that gets rewritten every 5 min. it's attached to an xsl that displays all the data. I have links on that page that would give the viewer only parts of the data depending on what link they click on. Right now I have to make many copies of the XML and rename them to point to their corresponding XSL page.... I would rather just be able to call the XSL pages and apply the one xml to it,, thanks
