Subject: [xsl] Current Node when referenceing $Variable_as_node From: "Karl J. Stubsjoen" <karl@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 3 Feb 2004 11:13:35 -0700 |
Hi, Little confused about this one. I have a variable declared within template that results in a xml tree. The select is like this: <xsl:variable name="xmTmpl"> <xsl:value-of select="$DocTemplates//TMPLT[@docid='1234']/>" </xsl:variable> Resulting tree should look like: <TMPLT docid='1234' name='my doc'> <T/> <T/> <T/> <T/> .... </TMPLT> Okay, so I have "xmTmpl". How do I perform a lookup of the top level name attribute? <xsl:value-of select="$xmTmpl//@name"/> ??? (double / after var) -or- <xsl:value-of select="$xmTmpl/@name"/> ??? (single / after var) Karl XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
