Got it -- was looking at the wrong spec. Thank you and Ken for the fast response and clarification -- I'll see about getting this addressed on the data generation end.Are there any special rules around XSLT processing of string values from attributes vs text() nodes?
Not XSLT rules, XML Rules: an XML parser will replace newlines by spaces inside attribute values.
