Subject: AW: [xsl] tomcat web server and dynamic XSL From: Nikolas.Nehmer@xxxxxxxxxxx (Nikolas Nehmer) Date: Tue, 27 Apr 2004 12:04:08 +0200 |
I didn't thought that tomcat invokes the transformation. I just thought the browser realizes that he needs some stylesheets to transform the xml file and that the browser gets those xsl files from the webserver automatically. So am I wrong? When I use a web server I need to transform the XML files before delivery to the the browser? On my local mashine it works fine! The browser gets alls the XSL files from the filesystem and invokes the transformation! Nick |-----Urspr|ngliche Nachricht----- |Von: Michael Kay [mailto:mhk@xxxxxxxxx] |Gesendet: Dienstag, 27. You have to write some servlet code (or |install |some code that's already been written) that uses the JAXP interface to |invoke the transformation. | |Michael Kay | | |> -----Original Message----- |> From: Nikolas Nehmer [mailto:Nikolas.Nehmer@xxxxxxxxxxx] |> Sent: 27 April 2004 09:30 |> To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |> Subject: [xsl] tomcat web server and dynamic XSL |> |> |> Hi, |> |> i want to use XSL Transformed XML documents with a tomcat webserver. |> Every XML file is linked with a include hierarchy of XSL |> stylesheets.
