http://www.research.att.com/sw/tools/graphviz/ Provides SVG output. Would enable any graph to be presented, then zoomed for human use (more than printing), so no issue with pagination. Makes a very good job of layout. Is plain text output hence good for XML in, XSLT transform. No manual intervention required.
