Subject: [xsl] RE: Does Java Script Support space(nbsp) replacement From: "Mohammed Ashfaq S" <Mohammed.S@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 27 Aug 2004 18:05:14 +0530 |
Hi All ,
I have this func in Example.xsl file
function replaceString() {
regX = new RegExp("\@@@","g") ;
document.form1.Detail.value=document.form1.Detail.value.replace(regX,"\n");
// Here i have to Replace the Blank Space in the document
var _blankspace=' '; // I have used #160 too... still did not work
var _nospace='';
regX = new RegExp(_blankspace,"g");
document.form1.Detail.value=document.form1.Detail.value.replace(regX,
_nospace);
//
regX = new RegExp('@lt;',"g");
document.form1.Detail.value.replace(regX,'<');
regX = new RegExp('@gt;',"g");
document.form1.Detail.value.replace(regX,'>');
}
Can anyone tell me how do i get this working or Have i missed some basics.
How do I replace a blank space in the using the regX and the nbsp ?
Thanks in advice
Ashfaq
