Michael, thanks for your reply I think it points to the right direction... | Are you sure that at the time you call the key() function, | the context node | is in the right document? key() will search whatever | document is current at | the time you call it. I've just checked, and now I'm confused... To make it clearier I use two different namespaces, one is the 'data' for the data coming in, the second is 'mydata' which is xml embeded directly to the stylesheet, the key is suppose to work on the 'data' namespace and I need the 'mydata' one to define tables structure.
