Subject: RE: [xsl] Fwd: Namespace 'http://exslt.org/strings' does not contain any functions. From: "Michael Kay" <mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 26 Jun 2006 15:56:50 +0100 |
It's pretty confusing. The functions described in EXSLT can in many cases be implemented either as extension functions or as named templates. If there's no extension function available for your chosen processor then you can include the XSLT implementation, which will be in the form of named templates. If you use an xsl:include to include the named template, then you should normally call the function using xsl:call-template, rather than with an XPath function call.
