  Yes.  For grouping in XSLT 1.0, you can go to
http://www.jenitennison.com/xslt/grouping/.  But grouping is very much
simpler in XSLT 2.0.  Are you sure you need to transform within the
browser?  Maybe you can transform before to serve the page.
