Or, when case1 and case2 are known to be mutually exclusive
(that is,
not(case1 and case2) = true()
)
we can simply write:
<xsl:variable name="mynodeset" select=
"(path1)[case1]
|
(path2)[case2]
"/>
This can naturally be generalised for N mutually exclusive cases by
simply adding a new row for every additional case in the expression
above:
(path1)[case1]
|
(path2)[case2]
. . . . . . . . . .
|
(pathN)[caseN]
