Wendell, Interesting read! I think I'll keep your response around as food for thought. It's fascinating how a simple syntax like XPath, so naturally ingrained into the mind of an XSLT author, has the ability to become so intricate, complex and precise. And even further fascinating that much of its structure that provides for that complexity is based on the foundations of a language as blindingly simple as XML. > Indeed.
