Subject: Re: [xsl] Counting the number of elements within and outputting a variable holding analyze-string results wrapped by elements in a for-each From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 30 Nov 2009 14:19:32 GMT |
<xsl:value-of select="."/>
gives the string value of the selection which is empty in your case, you
want
<xsl:copy-of select="."/>
except that
<xsl:for-each select="$varAnalyzeStr">
<xsl:copy-of select="."/>
</xsl:for-each>
is more easily written
<xsl:copy-of select="$varAnalyzeStr"/>
Also, although not related:
<xsl:element name="section">
<xsl:attribute name="href" select="regex-group(1)"/>
</xsl:element>
is more eaily written
<section href="{regex-group(1)}"/>
