Subject: Re: [xsl] Generating index in FO where page#s preceded by chapter# From: "G. Ken Holman" <gkholman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 31 May 2013 05:53:43 -0400 |
Hi, all...
Would like some advice on using the standard index-processing FO objects for generating a back-of-book index when all page numbers in our books are formatted like this: <chapter>-<page>. For example, page 3-12, page 5-2.
I'm talking about using the markup <fo:index-page-citation-list>, <fo:index-key-reference>, and so on.
Antenna House is properly generating the page numbers in the PDF without the chapter number prefix, and now I want to modify the stylesheets to output properly formatted page #s in the index. Example:
tables, creating 2-12, 4-3, 5-3 -- 5-6 (The -- is an N-dash)
Has anyone attempted this? Can you provide direction?
