The peer-reviewed portion of the Balisage 2020 program has been set:

The Balisage 2020 program includes papers that discuss:
XSLT regular expressions for Unicode, making high-quality Microsoft Word from
the expressive powers of XSD schema patterns, markup as a writing discipline,
converting typesetting codes to structured XML, XSpec unit testing, IDE code
completion from XML documentation, statistical plotting with XSLT and SVG,
XML for art, pipelined XML transformations, what can SVG learn from OHCO,
and the use of declarative markup for: improving the accessibility of
microrevisions in authorial manuscripts, recipes (a 30-year-old promise),
measuring document similarity, accessibility metadata statements,
a spell-checking framework for custom dictionaries, cybersecurity documents,
redesigning the Balisage Proceeding website for accessibility.

LATE-BREAKING - Four slots have been reserved for late-breaking
presentations. Competition is fierce, so get your
late-breaking proposal in today. (Proposals due June 5, 2020)

ENCORE PRESENTATIONS: New this year: Balisage is asking for
your best presentation from another conference, user group
meeting, etc. We will insert these encores into the program if
technical glitches prevent a scheduled speaker from going on.
