Subject: Re: [xsl] Where is 'intersect' Operator Defined in XPath 3? From: "Michael Kay mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx" <xsl-list-service@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 8 Aug 2022 22:34:29 -0000 |
The documents have always been maintained using the xmlspec XML vocabulary. However, some parts including the grammar, the function proformas, and the XSLT element proformas are maintained using more specialised schemata; this allows, for example, automated testing of code examples. There are differences in detail between the individual documents; for example the main XPath and XQuery language specs are generated from a common source file. In addition some editors preferred to maintain change markup manually, while others generated it by cross-version comparison. (Manual change markup allows more detailed change tracking, where individual changes are linked to the bug issues that generated the change.)
