Call for Participation "Balisage: The Markup Conference 2023b
Balisage: where serious markup practitioners and theoreticians meet every
summer

What: an annual conference where we talk about markup, tools for creating and
working with marked up documents, and projects that use markup

What? XML, XSLT, XSLFO, XPATH, DITA, HTML,  JSON,  SGML, SVG,  XDM, XForms,
XHTML, XProc, XQuery, YAML, and more

What kinds of markup? Declarative markup. Descriptive markup. Semantic markup.
Inline markup. Standoff markup. Overlapping markup. Invisible markup.
Markdown.

Where: any place you are comfortable and connected (Balisage 2023 will be
entirely virtual)
