Count me as another 2-decade user of xslide, also unaware of the
github site. Every few years I find myself setting up a new emacs
environment, and every time I search for "xslide emacs", but this is
the first time the github site has appeared in the top hits. Can https://sourceforge.net/projects/xslide/ be updated to point there?
It's only taken a month, but the SourceForge page now refers to the GitHub repository, there's a (pre-)release on the GitHub site, and there's even rudimentary installation instructions:
