Subject: Looking for Eldred v. Ashcroft oral-argument transcript From: Max.Hyre@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Wed, 9 Oct 2002 13:04:35 -0400 |
Dear Listers: I would like to read the transcript of oral arguments for _Eldred_v._Ashcroft (U.S. Supreme Court, scheduled for today), but don't know where I'm likely to find one of the earliest copies. Can any of you give me any pointers? In the Court's own write-up at http://www.supremecourtus.gov/oral_arguments/availabilityoforalargumenttrans cripts.pdf, we're given the options of, roughly, spending USD 100 -- USD 300 for transcripts within five hours to five days (price inversely related to delay), or wait some fifteen days to see it on the Court's website, on Westlaw, or on Lexis-Nexis. So, in hopes of finding an earlier release of a transcript, I ask for information on who might do that, and where to find it. (Obviously, this is purely a matter of my own desire for instant gratification rather than any vital need. Nonetheless, I'm hoping one of you can help.) Thanks for your kind attention. -- Best wishes, Max Hyre
