* A ROUND-TABLE DISCUSSION ON PLAGIARISM, held on Saturday at the annual conference of the American Historical Association, in Chicago, brought forth a range of opinions on how historians should respond to the problem. One panelist called for punishing wrongdoers through the "old-fashioned virtue of shaming."
