The Annenberg / Oxford Summer Institute "Global Media Policy: Technology
and the New Themes in Media Regulation", presented by the Annenberg
School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania, and the Programme
in Comparative Media Law and Policy, University of Oxford, will take
place July 11-22, 2005 in Oxford, UK.
Lectures and Focus Groups will be held at the Programme for Comparative
Media Law and Policy (PCMLP) with housing at St. Catherine's College,
University of Oxford. The Summer Institute is designed to introduce
participants to the multitude of issues and policy concerns presented by
new communications technologies.
Applications are open to graduate students in legal studies,
communications studies and related disciplines as well as young
professionals from relevant disciplines. Criteria for selection will
include demonstrating a strong interest in communications policy,
regulation and law, and if applicable, relevant experience in the field.
The only method of application will be via the electronic application
