The Center for Intellectual Property seeks to become the nation's premier digital, member based organization that promotes the ethical and legal use of information. In order to fulfill that vision, the Center needs additional leadership, advisors and support. And that's where you come in. The Center would like to expand its Advisory Board to include two (2) voices from its Member Community. As a member of the Center for Intellectual Property Online Member Community you have the opportunity to either nominate yourself or a fellow member to serve on the CIP's Board of Advisors. We would particularly like to have representation from both individual and institutional members. Nominations will be accepted November 1-12, 2010. Voting will take place December 1-10, 2010. Nominations and voting will be held in accordance with the policies and procedures set and held by the USM and UMUC. The IIPSJ IP Empowerment Summit will serve the general public and professionals in educating and empowering minority artists, inventors, entrepreneurs, and other intellectual property (IP) supporters in underserved communities.
