It's more important to encourage people than "optimize" my ego. I won't improve code unless asked to. Well, actually I'll jump in if someone claims their game has no free space for new features. Tag-team optimization can yield unexpected savings on the 6502. Most successful 6502 games I can think of involved two or more programmers at some point in the development cycle. COMBAT, for example, was based on a core engine developed by several programmers. It's very tight code - I only found a dozen or so bytes in savings. Sorry to hear I ruined your vacation plans, Piero ;) - Jim -- Archives updated once/day at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsubscribing and other info at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/stella.html
