I meant 16550... these are big beasts that handle at least 64 channels
of data at a time (the one I used most had 118 channels), have touch
screens and hard drives, and can really take a pounding.  The 1650
series is much older, but good units are still worth a couple of
thousand.

Actually, the frame and base unit is the 16500... the protocol
analyser module that goes with it is the 16550 (basically, a HP Unix
box that does data analysis on the megabytes of data captured by the
LA).

Ob2600: anyone want to see a CodeWarrior for Atari 2600?  Not that we
would make it, just a cute thought. (Just trying to imagine C++ code
running on the 6507 with 128 bytes of RAM gives me chills!)
