The Jag was a transitional next gen system that buckled under the power of the systems that later came out with enough power to deliver the kind of next gen games people wanted with the quality and framerate they demanded. It has next gen games that the Playstation does better such as Doom clones, 2D and 3D fighters, and the obligatory 3D driving games. In this respect the 2600 is actually better since it offers classifications of games which are no longer done on modern systems so poly counts and texture mapping is not really an issue. Modern systems will have a harder time reaching classic status because they mainly just rehash the same genres with increased 3D power. -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/stella.html
