[stella] Atari 7800 checksum algorithm

I asked several of the 7800 designers if they know the local of the checksum
algorithm source code.  I am told:
* the algorithm designer later killed himself
* GCC only delivered to Atari a binary for generating the checksum
* a hard copy of the algorithm probably does not exist
* it could be in my CEO's attic
* it could be in a nearby structure refereed to as 'the bunker'
* it could be that one of two other people may have it somewhere

As time permits I will investigate further.
