Subject: [stella] 2600 developers - service available From: "Frank Palazzolo" <palazzol@xxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 15 Jan 2000 16:37:52 -0500 |
Hello Stellalisters, I've been lurking on this list for quite a while now without really contributing anything significant. Well, I finally pulled out my 2600 & modified supercharger, and decided to try it out along with my Soundcard & TV tuner card. This setup works pretty well! (Thanks Bob for makewav!) So, while it's up and running I thought I'd offer my services to any budding developers out there. If you want to see what you're code looks like on a "real 2600" but don't have one, I can easily make screenshots or maybe AVIs with this setup. I don't have a lot of spare time, but if you send me code and have some patience, I can send screenshots or video when I try them. Some limitations: 1) It's a Sears 6-switcher FWIW. 2) 4K or 6K/Supercharger size limits apply for obvious reasons. 3) I'm currently setup for NTSC, but I think I can make my tuner card do PAL. 4) Quick turnaround time not guaranteed :) 5) I have joysticks and paddles, but no keyboards or trackball 6) I'm not very good :) Thanks, -Frank -- Archives (includes files) at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/archives/ Unsub & more at http://www.biglist.com/lists/stella/
