I'm not sure if these people do "BattleSphere", but
this answer does have a sort of connection to the
2600, so it justifies your question.

Literally last week, I stumbled on a web site for
Songbird Productions.  Apparently, they are like Randy
and make games for the Jaguar and Lynx, and are open
to the 2600 and 7800.  They'll even tell you how to
make the cartridges, but I'm not sure if they help
with that and, if so, who sells them, them or you.  I
haven't even had a chance to give the site a good once
over (it's in my bookmarks under "After I'm Caught
Up").  You can find them at:

In case that doesn't work, go to the Yahoo site and
type Songbird Productions in the search engine and it
will pull it right up.
