Since there are 3 machine cycles per colour clock, and the areas are 160 colour clocks displayed, and 68 colour clocks of horizontal blank, the actual values are 160/3 (=53.33333) and 68/3 (=22.66666). 53.333.. + 22.666..... = 76. The diagram was a bit misleading.
