Hi Matthew,

Development using an emulator is very nice, because you can quickly test
changes. But you'll definitely want to run your code on real hardware from
time to time, and certainly as you start getting closer to completion. I'd
be glad to make you some boards with a socket, all you'd need then is an
eprom burner. You can probably find one eBay pretty inexpensively as long
as you only need to burn basic EPROMs (2732s for 4K games, 2764, 27128 and
27256 for 8K, 16K, and 32K).

If you're wondering instead (or in addition to) what kind of costs are
involved in getting your game produced in cartridge form, feel free to drop
me a line and I'd be glad to discuss this with you.. Depends on what size
your game is and what you want to do in terms of a label, manual, and/or
box.. We have some information on our Homebrew Services here:

http://www.atariage.com/store/services.php

We also have 4K PCBs in our store, and will be adding Bankswitching boards
as well as all the parts needed to build 4K/8K/16K/32K boards very soon.
You can then buy these parts and build the carts yourself if you want a more
"hands on" involvement in producing your game. :)

Take care,

 ..Al
