BRK is an NMI, basta!
It may be non-maskable, but it doesn't use the NMI Vector ($fffa/$fffb) - it uses $fffe/$ffff.
From the MCS6500 Microcomputer Family Programming Manual (p.144) :
"Symbolic notation for break is PC + 2 (down arrow) (FFFE)->PCL (FFFF)->PCH" -- Robin Harbron - macbeth@xxxxxxxxxxx http://my.tbaytel.net/macbeth http://www.psw.ca/
