Hi Dennis,
glad too see that this great game is going to be finished soon.

Here my comments

Yup, maybe a PAL conversion problem. And IMO the background is too
bright in that level too.

Good idea.

Agreed here too.

Hm, that might get too easy, because on higher levels you'd gain a lot
of additional points then. But some bonus time is a good idea. Maybe
some items only add to the score and others to the time too.

Yup, that would help the gameplay quite a lot. But AFAIK the bonus
item colors is identical with the girders color, so that might not be
possible. Maybe some sound effects can compensate this.

My suggestions:
- At the title screen, the contrast between background and the grey
letters is too low, making them almost unreadable on my TV. Actually
the brightness of background and letters seems almost identical.
- AtariAge logo isn't 100% centered
- IMO the 5 at the title screen should be taller (double height?)
- IMO the game should freeze when you finish a level. It just doesn't
look right when you are hit by a girder then. I hope that isn't
  accounted as a feature. ;-)
- color the remaining Climbers like the playing one. That will make
them look much more interesting. And maybe make them one line
- In Normal I am always dying at the first row. Is that just me or is
the gap between the girders to small there?

Sorry, haven't tested the sound yet.

BTW: Are there more additional lifes after 10,000 points?

Have fun!
