I'll let the attached binary do the talking. :)

It's flickerless.  No gameplay yet, just a demonstration of the kernel
which is fundamentally done.  I'm aware there's a number of pixelation
timing problems that need tweaking.  

Tentative title is "River Rampage", though I might eventually go with a
different theme and name.
