First off, I have only seen ICC used with playfield graphics (Boulderdash
prototypes) and have to say that all three examples you posted were
jaw-dropping in comparison.

I tend to agree with Thomas about ICC's ability to deliver nice colors and
greater vertical resolution (especially in the green and red sections).
However, I believe Spasticolor works!  It was the first one I loaded into my
supercharger and I was immediately blown away by the color depth and detail
of the image.  There's essentially no flicker, so it doesn't give my eyes a
hernia.

IMHO, Spasticolor a valid, flicker-free(ish) alternative to ICC and your
demo was a success.  I imagine that the image also requires less ROM as
well.  Is this correct?  That may be another advantage to using Spasticolor.
