1) Select your object in Level View
2) Assuming that you have no selection tools active, click in the 3D Layout
window *once*; otherwise click in the gray area surrounding the
3D tools.
3) Press Shift-Z on your keyboard - you should now have zoomed in on the
object.
4) Right mouse click, choose Show Object Setup, then edit the position in
the lower window.
