Hi,
1) 8 Bit textures will only be available under the Creation/Dev OpenGL 3D render engine (Vx3D_GLR.dll) use the preferences to modify the render engine.
There is no building block to set a texture video memory format. you will have to write it using the SDK.
 
2) Create a group containing the materials you want to modify and use a Logics/groups/group iterator and the material-textures/basic/set emissive building blocks.

HELP!

I have lots of materials which require to be toned down to save memory but there are hundreds of them.

no1. I want to reduce the Video Memory Format to 8 bit on all textures.

no2. I want to turn up Emisivity to Bright White on all textures.

How can i do these 2 as a batch, since there are literally 200 materials in the scene and i really can't do them all one by one.
